The Difference Between Knowing And Understanding Is Everything
                                                                                                                                  - back to outline
When I was 36 years old my life changed.  It changed from not knowing who I was, where I was, and what was really happening in life, to knowing the answer to all these questions, to knowing the answer but not yet understanding the answer.

For to know is very different from understanding, for to know is to experience and to understand is to transcend.

Now I am 63 years old and I am beginning to understand what I began to know at 36, I am beginning to transcend.

Dying Before Death Is Understanding What We Know - back to outline

Let me explain a little.  We know we are alive because we are experiencing ourselves as being alive, but yet we don't understand our being alive, and when we do understand it we will no longer be alive, as we were before, because understanding it has changed it into something else.

The Meaning of Life Will Make Our Soul Sing - back to outline

So what is the meaning of life, which is the title to this little love song, a love song from my heart to your heart, which in truth is independent of "our" understanding it, because our hearts already know it and understand it, but somehow we have become disconnected from our hearts.

"Life is the victory of wisdom reasoning over fate."

(see page 111 in the book by His Holiness, "The Pearl of Wisdom or Guru Man", Chapter 30, "The Mystical Meaning of Man's Body", for the full context of this quote, or just click HERE to go to the Table of Contents for that book.  Once there click on

The Battle Between Wisdom And Fate Determines Who We Are
                                                                                                                                  - back to outline
So we are both, we are wisdom and we are fate, and the outcome of the battle determines who we are, where we are, and what is happening.  And if fate wins then we are but the dream that we are currently experiencing, we are then the knowing that we are alive, without any understanding of it.

And if wisdom wins, then we are what we were before the dream began, before we knew that we were alive, but without any understanding of it, and having understood our being alive, we have become truly alive, we have come back to who we were before the dream, but this time with an understanding of it.  And we will never dream again.

Awakening The Wisdom Surrounding Our Soul Is The First Task of A True Life
                                                                                                                                  - back to outline
So how does this happen, and where did the quote above come from?  Who said such a thing that can cause the very soul within us to sing, to sing so loud that our heart melts, and causes the life we were before to awaken within us, to do battle with what we have become, in our ignorance of who we really are.

It happens when we want it to happen, when we have become ready for it to happen, as this child was at the age of 36.  Then it appears before us to see if  we really want it, as this is appearing before you now.

And if like this child, it awakens something within you that cannot be denied, then you will pursue it to its rightful end, as this child did.

And as it said to this child at the age of 36, so this child says to each of you at the age of 63, "My love you".
